A soothing story about kindness, courage, and learning that even the brightest stars need rest.
One quiet evening, Leo and Prisa were walking beside the silver-blue river when they heard a tiny yawn from the sky. A little star had slipped behind a cloud. It was too sleepy to sparkle, but it was afraid to close its eyes.
“Even brave stars need rest,” Leo said kindly.
Prisa touched the ground with her glowing horn. A path of soft flowers appeared, each one shining like a night-light. Leo gathered the warmest petals, and together they made the little star a cozy bed on top of the cloud.
“What if the sky becomes dark while I sleep?” asked the star.
Leo smiled. “The moon will watch over you.” Prisa nodded. “And your star friends will keep shining until morning.”
The little star finally closed its eyes. As it began to dream, one gentle spark floated down and landed on Leo’s nose. Everyone giggled softly so they would not wake it.
Leo and Prisa walked home beneath the moon, happy that kindness had made the night feel safe. Soon the whole Dreamland valley was quiet, peaceful, and ready for sleep.
Goodnight, little star. Goodnight, Leo and Prisa. Goodnight, every young dreamer.
